AmenBeats Privacy Policy

Last updated 14 August 2026

AmenBeats collects nothing. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. Everything you make stays on your device.

What stays on your device

Your saved patterns, songs, and settings are stored locally on your iPhone. They are not transmitted anywhere, and the developer cannot see them.

Local network — Ableton Link

AmenBeats supports Ableton Link, which keeps tempo in sync with Ableton Live and other Link-enabled apps. Link discovers those peers over your local network using Bonjour.

What travels over that connection is timing information only — tempo and beat position, exchanged directly between devices on your own network. No personal information is involved, nothing leaves your network, and no server is contacted. If you never enable Link, AmenBeats makes no network connections at all.

Audio

All sound is synthesised on your device at runtime. No audio is recorded, and the app does not request microphone access.

Files you import

MIDI files you import are read on your device to populate the grid. They are not uploaded or retained beyond the pattern you create from them.

Analytics, advertising, tracking

None. AmenBeats contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Nothing is collected, sold, or shared with anyone.
